Our History
Conversations That Count™ was born from a simple but powerful truth: one honest conversation can change the direction of a life.
Founder Twila Johnson, known as Twila the Connector, spent decades bringing people together through business, community leadership, and personal advocacy. Again and again, she witnessed the same moment: when women felt safe enough to share their real stories, something shifted. Walls softened. Isolation dissolved. Strength returned.
After navigating her own journey of resilience and healing, Twila felt called to create a space where women could gather not to impress one another, but to truly see and support each other. What began as an intimate gathering quickly grew into a movement, drawing women from across the community who were hungry for authenticity, encouragement, and meaningful connection.
Today, Conversations That Count™ stands as a platform where stories are honored, voices are elevated, and women leave reminded of their worth, their courage, and the power they carry forward...together.
